Summertime love & escape in your hometown

Ok, confession time. This past week we spent a glorious day at Windansea Beach in La Jolla. Tempted by sea air, sunshine and waves, we left the office for a working beach day. Yes, we are blessed and grateful. We rolled our picnic rug and travel towels up into our leather strap carriers, packed our picnic basket and headed to La Jolla.  

Theme of the day:  recreation and beach picnic with this happy couple. Seriously, it couldn’t get much better than this for a workday – right? Our lovebirds toasted to their future on our Casablanca Picnic Rug and unpacked a petite feast for lunch. After a little rest, it was time to get surfing. Windansea Beach is a world-famous surfing spot -- has been for decades. It’s iconic Southern California scenery – complete with a palm shack and serious surf break right in front of the beach. It’s one of our top 10 favorite beaches in the world.
