Mommy and Me Tea Party
We had a beau-TEA-ful time hosting our first ever Mommy and Me Tea Party, at our beachside headquarters, this past weekend! Being community driven and passionate about empowering women, we were so excited to host an event that celebrated motherhood and the special bond between a mother and her child.
Inspired by the British tradition of high-tea, and the whimsical energy Spring brings, we transformed our Skova HQ with the ultimate tea party set up. With the help of our go to florist, Fox & Flora, our tea tables were complete showcasing the stunning flower arrangements made specifically for this event. The mixture of wildflowers and roses, perfectly blended the traditional and whimsical, creating a high-quality, long lasting, piece, that really tied everything together.
We invited our local mothers to gather for an afternoon of our fun with their little ones. A coloring station, with special Mother’s Day designs were available for the children. Tea sandwiches, sweet treats and variety of tea was offered to all the guests; and of course, a tea party isn’t complete without the proper cups. Lucky for us, Tea By The Sea, generously provided, vintage, one of a kind teacups for everyone to use.
Each "Mommy + Me" who attended, left with a Skova Gift Bag including the essential for both mother and daughter. Mom Culture donated a bag of “Raising Tiny Humans is Exhausting” coffee and Dot Dot Smile donated a dress to each little lady who attended the tea party! Needless to say, everyone left feeling appreciated and acknowledged.
This event was one of our favorites. We were able to create a beautiful space for mothers and their children to express themselves and experience a genuine sense of community. We are incredibly thankful for everyone who attended, creating the lasting memories and new Skova traditions. A huge thank you to our sponsors who gifted all the Mother Day essentials, to show a collective appreciation for those on the journey of motherhood.
