Interview with Skova Babe: Phoenicia Byas

Q: So tell us a little about yourself. Where are you from? How old are you? What are your interests? 

A: I am from San Diego, CA and I am 28 years old! My interests include singing, yoga, Pilates, blogging my fashion looks, shopping, going to broadway plays or the opera, traveling and discovering new places and reading! I also love to a good coffee date and finding cute coffee shops!

Question 2: So you are finishing school for Psychology and criminal justice. What got you into pursuing that education ? 

A: Actually, I just changed my major to clinical lab science with a minor in criminal justice! I am currently in the Air Force reserves and my job in the military is military police. I’ve always been interested in criminal justice and investigation studies and I’ve decided that my passion in that field is crime scene investigations which is the career I will be pursuing once my degree is finished. I’m very interested in putting evidence together, brainstorming and coming up with problem solving ideas and this field fits that perfectly!

Question 3: What inspired you to start a fashion blog?

A: I started modeling when I was in high school and this is before Instagram or any smartphones were out. I wanted to model, I love putting outfits together, I believe that the way you dress is the way you represent yourself and I want to share those ideas with everyone! 

Question 4: What is something people may not know about you? 

A: Something people may not know about me is that I am always up for an adventure and love trying new things anytime my friends call me up and want to do something (even if it’s last minute) I almost never say no!
